Allowances, Rewards, and Certificate of Excellence

Reward of Excellence:

Regular students whose GPA is 4.5 or above are eligible to receive an amount of SR 1000 for every two consecutive semesters not including the summer semester. This reward should be within the regular period of reward payment. Payment will be deposited in the student’s bank account electronically.

Certificate of excellence:

Students who get a GPA of 4.5 or above for two consecutive semesters within the regular period of study not including the summer semester, are eligible for receiving a certificate of excellence. The certificate can be received by visiting the Student Service Centers at the Boys’ and Girls’ Campuses.

Allowances:

• A blind student is eligible for receiving an amount of SR 5240 as a Personal Reader Allowance.

• A disabled student is eligible for receiving an amount of SR 1500 as a Disability Allowance.

Blind students and students with disabilities are required to undergo a medical check in order to be eligible for the Personal Reader and Disability Allowances respectively.
