About the Vice Deanship

The Scholarships Vice Deanships was established in 1434 AH at the Deanship of Student Affairs at King Abdulaziz University with the appointment of the first Vice Dean for scholarships. This was based on the letter of His Excellency the President 3392/34 dated 5/5/1434 AH, which included approving the establishment of a scholarship vice deanship affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs to serve scholarship students, and provide appropriate scientific, social, cultural and training care for them. The Vice Deanship seeks to meet the needs of scholarship students by supervising scholarship programs, achieving their objectives and implementing them, and coordinating with the relevant authorities at the university. This enables scholarship students to obtain all the advantages of the scholarship and services provided to them, and linking these students to their faculties and their supervisors at the university, to achieve the best targeted indicative results. In addition, this strengthens the link between these students and their Saudi counterparts, through joint activities and programs, and activates communication with graduates of scholarship students even after their return to their countries. This is in accordance with the controls and regulations stipulated in the rules for sponsoring scholarship students for non-Saudis in higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
